My Story
AI Builder & Techpreneur
I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 17 and I’ve been building with AI since before it was mainstream. My PhD in Multi-Agent Systems at DFKI (2006) gave me a deep understanding of how AI systems work — the same principles that now power today’s agentic AI wave.
But I’m not an academic. Since 2006, I’ve been in the real world — co-founding technology companies, building AI-powered products, and advising more than 600 startups, SMBs, and corporations. I build AI solutions hands-on, and when I need specialized expertise, I bring in the right people from my network.
What sets me apart is that I operate at the intersection of three worlds: AI/technology, product, and business. I call it the ‘magic triangle.’ I don’t just understand the tech — I know how to turn it into a product that scales into a sustainable business.
Today I build AI-powered software, run AI strategy workshops for management teams at all levels, and serve as a board member and business angel for tech companies. I also created the Business Model DNA (BMDNA) framework — a metrics-based approach to making business models measurable, optimizable, and investable.
